Shopmobility Lisburn provides scooters and wheelchairs for use throughout Lisburn. Wheelchair loan scheme for longer use which is a free service (donation appreciated).

Shopmobility Lisburn is based in Bow Street Mall (office), Sprucefield, and Lisburn Square. For further information contact them on 028 9260 1357

Department of Regional Development (DRD), Lisburn City Council and other private sector donations provide funding for Lisburn Shopmobility.

Bridge Street Revival

One of LCCM’s major projects in the Historic Quarter is the urban renaissance being promoted in Bridge Street, with major support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, DoE Planning Service, Lisburn City Council and Northern Ireland Housing Executive as well as the direct investment by private property owners.  To date over £2 million has been invested in the first phase of this Townscape Heritage regeneration project in Bridge Street. Phase two is progressing well and by the middle of 2010 it is anticipated that four major new projects will be under construction bringing the majority of the remaining derelict buildings back into economic use.
