ArrowBIke To Work Day - 24th June 2011

Start the day off with a difference “get on your bike and cycle to work”

Research shows that 77% of people own a bike yet only 14% use them regularly, so this year Team Green Britain Bike Week is encouraging people to dust down and liberate the thousands of once-loved bikes languishing in sheds around the country
Cycling is a great way to keep fit, save money, do your bit for the environment and reduce congestion in our towns and cities.
Research has shown that most people's car journeys are less than 5 miles - a distance that is easily manageable by bike. Why not use your bike when:
• Cycling to and from work
• Visiting the park with your children
• Going to your local shop
• Collecting the paper in the morning
• Going to the gym in the evening
• Taking your children to school
Cycle to work on the 24th June 7.30-9.30am and enjoy a free breakfast and be entered in to a prize draw.

Free breakfast for all participants:
• Register your organization and come to Market Square between 7.30 and 10am for your free breakfast
•  Prize draw for all participants

What’s happening and how to get involved?
On the 24th June 2011, as an incentive to all you potential cyclists, there will be a free breakfast provided to everyone who cycles to work. The breakfast, supplied by a number of local cafes will
be available in Market Square, Lisburn City Centre  between 7.30 and 10am.

How to take part?
Register yourself or your business for the breakfast and prize draw in advance by calling Anneka on 028 9266 0625 or simply turn up on your bike or with your helmet.
