Translink is calling on all young wannabe Vincent Van Goghs, Pablo Picassos or Andy Warhols in Lisburn to take part in a special colouring competition.
The artistic challenge is to celebrate the £1 cash single fare and 50p child fare for Lisburn Ulsterbus City Services running everyday throughout June, and entrants’ efforts will be displayed in Lisburn Buscentre. Colouring templates are available to download from HERE and prizes of Translink’s Friends and Family Tickets (2 adults and up to 4 children) will be awarded to children in three different age groups; Primary 1 to Primary 3, Primary 4 to Primary 5 and Primary 6 to Primary 7. The overall winner will also receive £50 Smyth’s Toys gift vouchers alongside a Translink Family Ticket. Entries detailing the child’s name, school and class and with contact details clearly marked on the reverse should be returned to Aiken PR, 418 Lisburn Road, Belfast BT9 6GN before Friday 24 June.
Throughout June Lisburn Ulsterbus drivers will also be selling special discounted Smartlink TravelCards for £2. Valid for one day, this will allow passengers to take advantage of savings that can be made by using Smartlink cards for journeys rather than paying by cash.
