ArrowPUBLIC REALM CONSULTATION EVENT – 27 MARCH 2012

City Centre Retailers have been invited to attend a consultation event next week to hear  about the much awaited  proposals for the design of the Lisburn City Centre Public Realm. As well as hearing about the proposals, local retailers will have the opportunity to discuss their views and help shape the City Centre for years to come.

The two sessions, for City Centre businesses only, take place on Tuesday 27 March 2012 in the Assembly Rooms, Irish Linen Centre and Lisburn Museum, Market Square, Lisburn  at 13.00 - 14.00 and 17.00 - 18.00. Please contact Lisburn City Centre Management if you wish to attend on 028 9266 0625 or email office@lisburnccm.co.uk
Following confirmation of funding from the Department of Social Development last year the Council appointed The Paul Hogarth Company Ltd to review the concept plans produced for the re-design of the public realm in 2010 and develop them into a detailed design to take forward and deliver on the ground. The work will see the complete redevelopment of Market Square, Bow Street and some of the adjoining streets over the next two years.

A six week public consultation will take place from mid-April. Further details will be announced.
